The collection contains a significant number of photographs dating from 1860 and up to the present. The photographs document rolling stock and railway activities in Norway, and have been taken by a number of different photographers, both professionals and amateurs (railway employees and other individuals). The Norwegian Railway Museum can supply copies of photographs for use in books, exhibits, etc.

Large parts of the collections have been entered in our database which can be searched online. New data and photos are added on an ongoing basis. The database is available in Norwegian only.
