One of our museum park attractions is the Tertitt train. The locomotive “Urskog” (Richard Hartmann, 1895) and its carriages are from the Urskog-Høland line, and have provided a summer service at the museum since 1962. Norway's shortest railway line only runs for a few hundred metres, but this brief journey will give you a genuine olden-day experience. Onboard the train you'll get to meet the ticket inspector who will check that your ticket is valid for the journey. A return trip with the train is included in the museum admission fee. In 2011, the Tertitt train will run from 28th of May to 21st of August, as well as the remaining weekends in August. The train will be in for service July 4th and 5th.
