At the children's station, Leikvangen station, you’ll find Norway's only permanent garden train service. The train is named "Knertitten". The train was put into service in 2002 and runs whenever there are passengers on board. Several rides are allowed.

Here the whole family can enjoy a break. The children love a trip with the garden train, and we hope the adults join in as well. In the station building, easy challenges and games are available for everyone to try. 

Trips are included in the museum admission fee.

In 2011 the train will run every day from 1^st of July to 21^st of August, as well as during weekends in June and August.
